Snakes Pick up Morris and Colangelo in SPHL Dispersal Draft

            The SPHL held a dispersal draft Monday, May 5 in which the rights of players belonging to the Jacksonville Barracudas were dished out to the six remaining SPHL teams. Jacksonville's franchise requested a one-year suspension of operations last week, and should the team rejoin the league in 2009-2010, the rights of these players will go back to the Jacksonville Barracudas.

            The draft order reflected the 2007-08 regular season standings in reverse, with seventh-place Huntsville getting first pick, followed by Columbus, Twin City, Richmond, Fayetteville and Knoxville.
